Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup small pasta like shells or rotini
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets chopped small
  • 1/4 cup carrots diced
  • 1/4 cup frozen peas
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth or water for babies under 1
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsps Parmesan cheese optional (grated)

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a medium pot over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant. This brings out flavor without overwhelming little palates.
  • Add pasta, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, peas, and broth. Stir well to combine all the ingredients in one pot.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 12–15 minutes. Stir occasionally. The pasta should be soft, and the veggies should be tender—just right for toddlers.
  • Check texture and seasoning. Add a splash of water if needed and stir in cheese, if using. You can leave it plain for younger babies.
  • Let cool before serving. Mash slightly or blend for babies, or serve as-is for toddlers learning to self-feed.
