Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cup
  • Spoon or cup with lid

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup spinach` chopped
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt plain or vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 tbsp honey optional, for toddlers over 1

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Start with the liquids to help it blend smoothly.
  • Blend until creamy and smooth. You can scrape down the sides and blend again to make sure everything’s well mixed.
  • Pour into a toddler cup or bowl. Serve immediately with a straw, spoon, or smoothie pouch.
  • Let it rest a minute if too cold. For younger toddlers or babies, a slightly warmer temperature might be more comfortable.
  • Enjoy together! You can even make a batch for yourself while you’re at it.

Notes

Storage tips: Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 24 hours in a sealed container. Shake or stir well before serving. For longer storage, freeze in silicone ice cube trays and thaw as needed.
Age modifications: For babies under 1, omit honey and use full-fat yogurt. Serve in a pouch or spoon-feed in a bowl.
Allergy-friendly swaps: Use dairy-free yogurt and plant-based milk like oat, almond, or coconut for a fully dairy-free version.
Nutrition boosters: Add ½ tbsp chia seeds, ground flaxseed, or a dollop of nut butter for extra healthy fats and fiber.
Parent tip: Call it “Green Dino Drink” or “Mango Monster Fuel” for a fun name toddlers love!
